About US

The Watertown Pomperaug Indians hockey team – locally known as “Dub-P” are a cooperative high school hockey team competing in the Southern Connecticut Conference (SCC).   The Indians play an aggressive varsity schedule and call the Mays Rink at the Taft School their home.

In the 2010/2011 season the Indians won the DII/DIII Southwest Conference (SWC) Championship and advanced to the state final to beat the Staples/Weston/Shelton Ice Hockey team.  The following season the Indians moved up to DII.

In the 2012/2013 season the Indians won the DII/DIII SWC Championship again by beating a tough Brookfield/Bethel/Danbury team.

For the 2013/2014 seasion, the SWC and SCC announced a partnership and the Indians began playing in a very competitive DII Southern Connecticut Conference.  For additional information regarding this partnership, please click here.
